Ramblers Roll Past Rockets, 53–25

Under the bright lights, the Windber Girls Varsity Basketball team took control early and never looked back, powering past Rockwood with a convincing 53–25 victory. The Ramblers set the tone with relentless defense and unselfish offense, overwhelming the Rockets from the opening tip.

Kaylie Gaye led the charge with a dominant all-around performance, pouring in 28 points while dishing out five assists and snagging four steals, lifting Windber with energy on both ends of the floor. Autumn Walz sparked the defense with six steals to go along with eight points, creating fast-break opportunities that kept Rockwood on its heels. Inside, Payton Roxby was a force on the boards, hauling in nine rebounds and adding eight points to help control the paint.

With teamwork, intensity, and grit, the Ramblers showed their strength from start to finish, earning a statement win and continuing to build momentum as the season rolls on.
