Volunteer Coaching & Support
Each team will be led by parent volunteers who will receive guidance on rules, expectations, and player development principles.
All volunteers must obtain and submit PA-required clearances prior to coaching, as this is a district-run program.
Additionally, each team will need:
- A clock operator volunteer for game days
- A statistician for score keeping (Grades 3 and up)
Community & School Participation
The Windber Youth Basketball League is open to teams from neighboring schools as well!
We encourage other school districts to form and enter full teams. If your school is interested, please reach out to us — there are no entry fees, and we are excited to build a community league together for dedicated adults to help lead and support our teams. If interested, please reach out.
