Four Windber student-athletes—Trey Tallion, Tyler Tallyen, Nathan "Nate" Oleksa and Braedyn "Chez" Cheskiewicz—have been named to the Daily American's 2026 Somerset County Midseason Breakout Football Players list.

The Daily American's recognition highlights 19 athletes across Somerset County who have made an impact on their teams during the first five weeks of the high school football season.

For Windber, having four Ramblers recognized provides an opportunity to celebrate their contributions and the work they continue to put into the season. The Windber athletic community congratulates Trey, Tyler, Nate and Chez and looks forward to cheering them and their teammates on throughout the remainder of the season.

Fans can also support the Windber honorees in the Daily American's reader poll for Somerset County Midseason Breakout Football Player. Voting closes at noon Friday, October 2, 2026.
