Hello! I am very excited for the upcoming athletic season and school year. I am going into my second school year as the Athletic Director here at Windber and I am very excited to be a part
of the Rambler family and community. My family and I are originally from southern Virginia and moved here to Pennsylvania in the fall of 2017. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 27 years and have two sons ages 21 and 16. My youngest son is also a Rambler! I completed my BS degree in Elementary Education from Chaminade University in Hawaii where my husband was stationed with the United States Marine Corps for six years. There I taught at the Elementary level for about three years.
My husband spent about 12 years in the military before taking his current job which moved us here to Johnstown. Prior to his discharge from the military, I completed my graduate degree in Administration and School Leadership at Grand Canyon University. Overall I have about 12 years of teaching at the Elementary and Middle school level and about seven years of experience as a School Administrator and Director. During my time here In Pennsylvania, I substituted in the Greater Johnstown School District and taught Prek3 at Divine Mercy Catholic Academy, and more recently I have worked in Family Based programs as well as in homes supporting CCCYS through Independent Family Services. I was an avid softball player and supported my two children through their sports and activities as well as serving on the boosters for the Marching Band. My coaching and sports experience includes being a head coach for 4 years of a middle school softball team as well as adult leagues and assistant coach for T-Ball. Iam very excited to see what the new school year will hold and hope to see you all at our sporting and school events.
