The Windber Rambler Lettermen's Club, referred to as the "Lettermen's Club" was formed in the year 2001 to support and promote the Windber Area School District athletic department and the student-athletes participating in its interscholastic sports programs. The Lettermen's Club is a non-profit corporation, approved by the IRS as a federal tax-exempt 501©3 organization. The initial goal of the Lettermen's Club was to establish an endowment fund to support the Windber Area School District Athletic Department and its interscholastic sports programs.
The Lettermen's Club represents all past and present letter winners, coaches, and administrators, and seeks their support for the Lettermen's Club objectives through sharing information, sponsoring fundraising activities, and sustaining success for student-athletes and sports programs in the Windber Area School District. The Lettermen's Club continues to seek support and assistance from alumni, particularly letter winners; friends, parents, and students both past and present; and former athletes of Windber Area sports programs. The Lettermen's Club appeals to these groups and others whose interest lay in promoting successful and invaluable life experiences in sports for student-athletes in the Windber Area School District sports programs.
