We are excited to announce two fantastic opportunities for our students to enhance their basketball skills this fall. Starting in October, the Windber Area School District will be hosting a Fall Shooting Lab Clinic and a Skills and Drills Camp. These camps are designed to help students of all skill levels develop their basketball abilities in a supportive and fun environment.
Fall Shooting Lab Clinic
Location: Windber Elementary Gym
Dates: October 16 - November 8
Grades 3, 4, and 5:
Grades 6-12:
Our Shooting Lab Clinic focuses on helping students perfect their shooting form and technique. Whether your child is just starting out or looking to refine their skills, this clinic will provide the guidance and practice needed to become a more confident and accurate shooter.
Skills and Drills Camp
Location: Windber Sports Complex (Iron Horse)
Dates: October 19 - November 16
Grades 3, 4, and 5:
Grades 6-12:
The Skills and Drills Camp is designed to improve a variety of basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, and defensive techniques. Students will engage in a series of drills that will help them build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of the game.
Pre-Registration and Volunteer Information
To ensure we have adequate resources and can provide the best experience for our students, pre-registration is required for both camps. Please register your child as soon as possible to secure their spot. We also welcome parent volunteers to help assist with both the Shooting Lab and Skills and Drills Camp. If you're interested in volunteering, please indicate this during the registration process.

Pre-registration is required to attend the camp so we can plan accordingly. These camps are a great way for our students to stay active, build new skills, and have fun with their peers. We encourage all interested students to participate, and we look forward to seeing them on the court this fall!
