The Windber boys varsity basketball team secured a decisive 56-40 victory over Southern Fulton in the District 5-2A quarterfinals on Monday night. Behind a stellar offensive performance and solid team play, the Ramblers punched their ticket to the semifinals, where they'll face longtime rivals Conemaugh Township.

Ace Kolson was unstoppable, scoring a game-high 29 points to lead the Ramblers. His offensive outburst, including several clutch three-pointers and strong finishes in the paint, kept Windber in control throughout the game.

The Ramblers built an early lead and maintained their composure as Southern Fulton tried to rally in the second half. Windber's defense stepped up, forcing turnovers and shutting down Southern Fulton's key players, ensuring the lead was never in doubt.
