The Windber baseball team put on an impressive display of both pitching and hitting as they cruised to a 10-0 win over Shanksville.
One standout performance came from Lucas Rummel, who was dominant on the mound and at the plate. He allowed just two hits and struck out six in four innings of work, keeping Shanksville's offense completely off balance. At the plate, he contributed two hits, drove in three runs, and scored once, showcasing his all-around talent.
Another key contributor to Windber's offensive surge was Lucas Oleksa who recorded two hits, including a booming double, and added two RBI's to the tally. He consistently put pressure on the Shanksville defense, helping the Ramblers build a commanding lead.
Adding to the offensive firepower was Dylan Woodruff who chipped in with a pair of RBI's, further widening the gap and leaving Shanksville with no chance of a comeback.
With solid defense backing up their pitching and relentless hitting throughout the lineup, Windber secured the shutout victory in dominant fashion. The win continues to build momentum for the Ramblers as they look to carry their strong form into the next game.
