Windber Track & Field Shines at ICC Championships

The Windber varsity track and field teams turned in strong performances at the ICC Championships, with the girls placing 3rd overall and the boys finishing 4th in a competitive field.

Leading the way for Windber was senior standout Grady Klosky, who delivered a dominant showing in the jumps. He claimed first place in the long jump with a leap of 20 feet, 1¼ inches, and followed that up with a win in the triple jump, posting a mark of 41 feet, 2 inches. He capped off his stellar day by teaming up with Luke Hostetler, Cole Mash, and Kennan Klosky to win the 400-meter relay in 45.53 seconds, helping boost the boys' team score.

The Windber girls also had a strong day on the track and in the field, earning valuable points across multiple events to secure a 3rd place team finish. Consistent performances across the roster highlighted the team's depth and determination.

Windber now looks ahead to the upcoming district meet with momentum and confidence after a successful showing at the ICC Championships.
