In front of a sea of pink for their annual "Pink Out" game, the Windber girls varsity volleyball team put on a dominant performance, sweeping Salisbury-Elk Lick 3-0 in straight sets. The night was about more than just volleyball, as the team raised awareness for breast cancer, but their play on the court was nothing short of spectacular.

Windber set the tone early, jumping out to a commanding lead in the first set, thanks to an incredible serving performance from Liliana Grillo . She recorded an astonishing 27 service points, 20 assists, and 3 kills, orchestrating the offense with precision. Her serves left Salisbury-Elk Lick scrambling, unable to mount a response.

Another standout, Maggie Manippo, was equally impressive with 12 service points and 3 kills, adding to Windber's relentless attack. Her timely spikes and consistency at the service line kept the opposition off balance throughout the match.

On defense, Skylee Miller led the charge with 11 service points and 8 digs, refusing to let any ball hit the floor. Her quick reactions and tireless hustle energized the team, making it nearly impossible for Salisbury-Elk Lick to find any rhythm.
