Windber Junior High Baseball Shuts Out Berlin 9-0

The Windber Junior High baseball team delivered a dominant performance on Thursday, shutting out Berlin 9-0 in a complete team effort.

Windber got on the board early in the first inning, capitalizing on disciplined at-bats and timely hitting. The scoring started when Colton Woodruff drew a walk, followed by Alex Vuckovich's sharp single down the left field line. Josh Scalia then singled to center field, and Carmen Manippo drew another walk — each plate appearance bringing in a run to give Windber an early advantage.

The Ramblers never looked back, racking up 10 hits over the course of the game. Trey Tallion led the team with two RBIs, while Braedyn Cheskiewicz had a solid day at the plate, going 2-for-4.

Windber's pitching and defense were just as impressive, keeping Berlin off the board with a strong showing on the mound and error-free play in the field.

The shutout win highlights Windber's depth and focus as they continue a strong season on both sides of the ball.
