On April 30, 2025, Windber Jr. High Baseball delivered a near-flawless performance, shutting out Meyersdale 10-0 in a commanding victory.
Leading the charge offensively was Braedyn Cheskiewicz , who drove in five runs on three hits, providing the spark the Ramblers needed to take control early. Another key contributor, Stevie Slatcoff, showcased great plate discipline by drawing a walk that brought in a run to extend Windber's lead.
On the mound, Isaac Serenko was lights out. The starting pitcher earned the win with a nearly untouchable performance—tossing four and two-thirds innings of no-hit baseball, striking out eight while allowing just two walks. The dominant outing kept Meyersdale off balance and off the scoreboard.
Windber Jr. High racked up 10 hits in total and showed aggression on the base paths, swiping nine bases throughout the game. Defensively, the team was rock-solid, not committing a single error in the field.
With strong contributions across the board, the Ramblers put together one of their most complete games of the season and continue to build momentum as they head into the final stretch.
